PostHeaderIcon How to run plumbing system that hot water will be instant at every faucet?

Hot water should be instant at every faucet and the shower will not lose it temperature/pressure when a kitchen faucet is turned on. I plan to use a TANKLESS water heater

You will need a seperate 5 gallon electric water heater placed next to your tankless water heater. 1) cold water into electric w/h . 2) hot out of elec. w/h and into cold side of tankless. 3) hot out of tankless w/h to fixtures. 4) 1/2" line from farthest fixture back to elec. w/h. 5)remove drain valve on elec. w/h and install a tee fitting, drain valve, check valve, bronze body circulating pump .6) tie that 1/2" dedicated line into circulator ( all arrows on circ. and check valve point towards elec. w/h) 7)plug pump into a timer to only re-circulate when you are not sleeping) both tankless and elec. heater will need there own temperature and pressur relief valves!! and add many isolating valves I.E cold in….. hot out….. hot in…….. hot out……. and another before circ. pump

PostHeaderIcon just bought an electric tankless water heater. We can't seem to get hot water . Does anyone know about these.

We hooked it up but no hot water . The water pressure is good.

Double check your connections, the wire size(what is the voltage rating?), the circuit breaker, is it grounded. My experience with these things, it is usually not enough water pressure. It uses the pressure to heat the water. GoodLuck

PostHeaderIcon Do I have to change my PVC lines when I install a Tankless Hot water heater?

I am considering installing a Tankless Hot water heater here in the next few months and was wondering whether or not I would have to switch part of my lines over to copper. Anybody installed the electric version of a tankless system and have problems? Thanks
First, DakotaWayne I am a bachelor living in a two bedroom, one bath trailer with a dishwasher and sink (neither get much use) and a washer and dryer. So its not like Im living in a 5 bedroom house wi16;h 10 kids. Second, I am a little bit old school so I call CPVC "PVC", you go to Lowes they are going to give you CPVC because they know what you mean. Just letting everyone know my living situation.

We are thinking of installing an electric tankless hot water also and we researched it on the internet. If you can get online go to Bosch.com and there is info you will find interesting.
